Plain-language version — last updated September 2026.
Spread Out! collects nothing. There's no sign-up, no account, no ads, and nothing about your child is ever sent anywhere. Everything the game remembers (player names, jerseys, stars, best scores) is saved only in your own browser, on your own device — the same way a browser remembers a website you visited before.
Nothing. We don't have a server that stores information about players. We don't use analytics, ad networks, or tracking pixels. There is no way for us to see who is playing, how often, or how well.
The game uses your browser's built-in storage (called "localStorage") to remember, only on the device you're playing on:
This information never leaves your device. It isn't sent to us or anyone else. Clearing your browser's site data, or using a private/ incognito window, will erase it.
There are none. Player profiles are just names you type in — not real accounts, no passwords, no email addresses, nothing verified.
No ads, ever. The game makes no calls to any outside service while you play — no analytics, no font downloads, no images from other websites. Once the page has loaded, it can even work with no internet connection at all.
Spread Out! is designed for children roughly ages 6–12. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, of any age, there is nothing for us to disclose, sell, or misuse. We built it this way on purpose.
If this policy ever changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Since the game collects nothing today, any future change that added data collection would be a big change — and we'd make that very clear.
